Union Minister of State for External Affairs Pabitra Margherita today met the Governor of Gunma Prefecture, Japan, Ichita Yamamoto. In a social media post, Mr Margherita said that the State-Prefecture engagement is a vital pillar of the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership. He noted that the Governor of Gunma Prefecture is visiting India with a delegation of Japanese businesses and banks. He emphasised the need to deepen collaborations in the field of manufacturing, technology, mobility, SMEs, start-ups and next-generation infrastructure.
