Union Minister for Communications, Jyotiraditya Scindia, today lauded the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) for winning the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Standards Association (IEEE SA) Corporate Award 2025.
In a social media post, Mr Scindia said that C-DOT has become the first organisation from India to receive this honour and only the fifth globally from the 140-year-old IEEE. He highlighted that the award recognises C-DOT’s contributions to advancing IEEE standards in wireless broadband, rural 5G, telecom education and in building globally recognised, standards-based innovation frameworks from India.
