BJP National President and Health and Family Welfare Minister J.P. Nadda today met with the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani in New Delhi. During the meeting, Mr Nadda provided an overview of vision and governance of India’s healthcare advancements under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He elaborated on the government’s efforts in providing healthcare access and affordable medical care. Mr Nadda also described opportunities for collaboration between Qatar and India in the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. He thanked Sheikh Thani for his support of the Indian diaspora in Qatar.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Thani congratulated Mr Nadda on the election victories of the BJP in General Elections and state elections. He concurred with Mr Nadda that there is further scope for collaboration in the healthcare sector between India and Qatar.
