Union Minister for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Dr Jitendra Singh said that effective communication is not just about information dissemination but about building trust, creating awareness, and inspiring participation among citizens.

Chairing a session on Effective Government Communication with Secretaries and senior officials of his Ministries, Dr Singh emphasized the importance of simplifying science communication by adopting a storytelling approach. He further asked the departments to adopt a whole-of-government approach in communication to ensure that the messages across ministries are aligned with the goals of the government. The meeting was focused on improving public communication strategies and adopting innovative ways to make government messages more relatable, transparent, and impactful.
