Political stalemate continues for govt formation in Tamil Nadu as TVK yet to reach majority mark

In Tamil Nadu, the formation of a new Government is further delayed for want of support to form a majority.

The National General Secretary of CPI(M), Baby, has said that it was the duty of the Governor to invite the single largest party to form the Government.

Speaking to the media in Chennai, he accused the Governor of using delay tactics depending on the commands from Delhi.

He also said that the BJP is taking efforts to make AIADMK rule the State by delaying the democratic process.

In a related political development, AMMK Chief TTV Dhinakaran is demanding action by the Governor on the forged letter of support from his Party MLA to TVK. The VCK will announce today by four pm in a formal meeting with TVK.

The AIADMK MLAs have reached Chennai from the Puducherry resort to meet the Party General Secretary Edappadi Palanisamy.
