Two Goan films drew attention at the 56th International Film Festival of India with strong red carpet moments and warm audience response. The gala premiere of Vaimanik – The Pilot celebrated a moving story of two brothers set in 1960s Goa. The event saw the presence of the film’s cast and creative team.
Meanwhile, Zero Bulb, directed by young filmmaker Soham Bende, received red carpet honours, highlighting emerging Goa talent. Bende shared insights on creating the film on a modest budget with collective support. Vice Chairperson of Goa Entertainment Society Delilah Lobo said meaningful themes and strong storytelling will continue to earn government support and wider platforms for Goan cinema.
