The State Health Agency of Tripura has been recognised as the best small state for expeditious settlement of suspicious claims, achieving the fastest turnaround time during the financial year 2025-26 under Ayushman Bharat-Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and the Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. The award was presented at a two-day Chintan Shivir, which concluded in Pune, Maharashtra, yesterday. Senior officials from the National Health Authority and representatives from various states took part in the Chintan Shivir.
According to the Tripura Health Protection Society, the recognition highlights the agency’s dedicated efforts, strong performance at both state and district levels, and effective coordination among stakeholders. It also reaffirms Tripura’s commitment to providing quality healthcare coverage and improving service delivery for beneficiaries.
