In Ladakh, traffic movement has resumed on the Zoji La Pass along the Strategic National Highway 1 after remaining closed for six days due to heavy snowfall. Following the restoration of the road, authorities allowed the movement of vehicles from Sonamarg towards Ladakh. More than 2,000 passengers and around 300 vehicles crossed the pass after the highway was reopened.

Our correspondent reports, snow clearance teams worked continuously to restore the road and ensure safe passage for vehicles. Authorities have advised commuters to follow traffic regulations and check weather and road conditions before undertaking travel through Zoji La Pass.
