The three-day International Conference on Advanced Next Generation Vision for Emerging and Sustainable Healthy Foods (ANVESH 2026) will be held from Thursday at the National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), Kundli in Sonipat. The conference aims to address emerging advancements in food processing, value addition, sustainable supply chains, export-orientated innovation, food safety and future-ready agri-food entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Addressing the media in New Delhi, Secretary of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Dr Avinash Joshi, said that currently around 12 to 13% of agro products are being processed in the country, and the aim of the government is to double it in the next six to seven years. He said that delegates from 25 countries are participating in the ANVESH 2026. He said that an exhibition will also be organised in which 61 exhibitors will take part.
