Japanese crime thriller “Sham”, directed by Takashi Miike, premiered today in the ‘International Competition’ section of the 56th International Film Festival of India at Goa. Based on the true story of a teacher wrongly accused of bullying a student, this drama-thriller is adapted from journalist Masumi Fukuda’s 2007 book. The movie examines the media-fueled controversy through multiple, conflicting narratives. The audience enjoyed its story and strong emotions during it’s premiere at IFFI.
