Sri Lanka’s economy expands as Q2 GDP hits Rs. 2,883 billion

Sri Lanka’s economy expanded by 4.9% year-on-year in the second quarter of 2025, reflecting signs of sustained recovery from the country’s worst economic crisis in decades. RBI projected Country’s real GDP to grow at 6.5% in current fiscal year: Govt in Rajya Sabha

The RBI has projected Country’s real GDP to grow at 6.5 percent in the current fiscal year.
