The Ministry of Minority Affairs has organised the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign 2025 from today, which will continue till the 2nd of October on Gandhi Jayanti. The Campaign was launched near Gurudwara Bangla Sahib in the National Capital by Union Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju. During the event, the Swachhata Pledge was administered in the presence of the Union Minister. 

 

 

On the occasion, Mr Rijiju inaugurated the Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivir and distributed Safai Kits to Safai Mitras. Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rijiju emphasised for making cleanliness a part of our lives to keep the country clean. He said, since the launch of the Swachh Bharat Mission, awareness about cleanliness has been generated among the people, but it should also be carried out further. Mr Rijiju said that his Ministry is implementing welfare schemes for the minority communities. The Minister added that whatever issues related to these communities are brought before his Ministry, he tries to address them with a coordinated approach.
