Rajya Sabha MP, Sudha Murty, today inaugurated “Craftkatha – 2025”, an exhibition showcasing artisans from across India, as part of the National Handicrafts and Heritage Week 2025 celebrations in New Delhi. The Ministry of Textiles said that this exhibition aims to celebrate the country’s artistic heritage by promoting sustainable livelihoods, encouraging young artisans, and strengthening grassroots craft ecosystems. It added that the event, organised in collaboration with the National Handloom Development Corporation and the All India Artisans and Craft Workers Welfare Association, will bring together the nation’s diverse craft traditions, master artisans, and unique handmade products on a single platform. The Ministry further said that the exhibition is open to craft lovers, buyers, designers, students, and the general public to experience creativity and craftsmanship at Handloom Haat, from 11 AM to 8 PM daily till the 17th of this month.
