“The state-level Republic Day celebrations, marked by a deep sense of national pride, showcased a magnificent blend of discipline, valour, and culture. The event featured a well-organised parade by security forces before the dignitaries, followed by thrilling feats, skilful performances, and vibrant displays of local folk culture. In a significant move following the festivities, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced the free allocation of government land to state municipalities for 11 types of essential public facilities. Under this new policy, municipalities will be exempt from paying the typical 25% to 50% of the market price (Jantri rate) usually required to acquire land for development projects.
