A SriLankan Airlines flight from Chennai was subjected to a full security check upon arrival in Colombo on Saturday after authorities were alerted about a suspect believed to be on board. The airline said Flight UL122, operated by aircraft 4R-ALS, landed at 11:59 am on Saturday and was immediately searched in coordination with local authorities. The alert had been issued by the Chennai Area Control Centre. The airline confirmed that the aircraft was thoroughly inspected and later cleared for further operations. The airlines added that it prioritises the safety and security of passengers and crew while upholding standards of safety.
