In Puducherry, a special interaction with beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana was held at Raj Nivas yesterday, as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of the scheme.

Speaking on the occasion, Puducherry Lieutenant Governor K. Kailashnathan noted the transformative impact of the scheme in empowering small traders, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, and vendors-particularly women and youth. Several beneficiaries shared their experiences of business growth and job creation enabled by the scheme.

They also suggested training in financial management, GST billing, and procurement through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The Lieutenant Governor also handed over sanction letters to newly approved loan recipients.
