Continuous rain in Madhya Pradesh has started affecting public life. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for extremely heavy rain in three districts for the next 24 hours.
“The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for extremely heavy rain in Narmadapuram, Raisen and Harda districts. Also, orange alert for very heavy rain in 13 districts including Bhopal, Dewas, Chhindwara. There is a threat of flash floods in Betul, Bhind, Dewas, Harda, Khandwa and Shajapur districts.
Due to rain, there is flood situation in many villages of Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Damoh, Sagar and Narsinghpur districts of the state. School holidays have been declared in many districts.
