Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang Golay has expressed happiness as Sikkim has been declared the country’s first paperless judiciary state. Chief Justice of India, Surya Kant, declared this today in a conclave held at Gangtok. Chief Minister Golay termed it a historic step towards building a faster, transparent, and technology-driven justice system.

He said that at a time when technology is rapidly transforming the world, its integration into the justice system is essential, and he hoped that initiatives like e-filing and digital case management would make justice delivery more efficient, accessible, and inclusive.
The Chief Minister added that as India progresses towards the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, a strong, technology-driven judiciary would play a vital role in ensuring fairness, fostering trust, and supporting sustainable development.
