Seven-day International Film Festival Delhi 2026 concludes at Bharat Mandapam

The seven-day International Film Festival Delhi 2026 concluded today at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. The week-long festival showcased more than 125 films from across the world, marking a major addition to India’s global cinema calendar. Free public screenings, discussions, workshops, and cultural programs were also organized as part of the festival. 
 
Talking to the media, filmmaker Imtiaz Ali described his experience as highly inspiring. He appreciated the organisation of the festival and congratulated the organisers on the success. He said that the active engagement of the audience and their insightful questions added vibrancy to the event. He also expressed hope that future editions of the festival would be even more successful. 
 
Meanwhile, Film producer Guneet Monga also shared her experience with the media. She described the occasion as a homecoming and said that the sense of joy and fulfillment received at home is unmatched, despite achieving success globally.
 
Talking exclusively to Akashvani, Actor Sheeba Chaddha termed her participation in the event as a delightful experience. She said she thoroughly enjoyed being part of the festival and expressed gratitude towards the organisers and the women who contributed to the event.
 
The festival aimed to promote the creative economy, encourage film tourism, provide opportunities to emerging talent, and offer a single-window platform for filmmakers.
