Benchmark domestic equity indices, Sensex and Nifty, were trading over 0.6 per cent down during afternoon trade today. The Sensex slipped 540 points to 83 thousand and 30, while the Nifty dipped 171 points to 25 thousand and 523, when reports last came in. On the sectoral front, Realty was dragging the most, followed by Oil and Gas, and Media, while Services and FMCG were bucking the trend.
