Rajasthan to host Regional AI Impact Conference 2026 in Jaipur on January 6

Rajasthan will host a Regional AI Impact Conference 2026 on the 6th of this month in Jaipur. Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Jitin Prasada will attend the conference. The conference, being held in collaboration with Rajasthan DigiFest and TiE Global Summit 2026, is part of a series of engagements leading to the India AI Impact Summit 2026 to be held in February this year.
 
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology said that the conference will serve as a key regional platform to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) can drive governance reform, economic growth, innovation, and inclusive development. The agenda of the conference includes sessions on AI for Public Service Delivery and Governance, Ethical and Responsible AI, AI and the Future of Employment and Skills, and the emergence of Rajasthan’s AI startup and innovation ecosystem. 
 
Meanwhile, Guwahati will also host a Human Capital Working Group Meeting during the next two days. Chair of the Human Capital Working Group Prof. T. G. Sitharam will chair the group meeting. It will bring together senior policymakers, academic leaders, industry experts, and practitioners to deliberate on the future of education, skilling, and workforce readiness in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
