In a breakthrough, the Punjab Police have recovered the largest consignment of narcotics and arms in Amritsar with the arrest of two persons today.
Police sources have confirmed that the consignment includes about 43 kg of heroin, 4 hand grenades, and one pistol with 46 live cartridges. The recovery has been made with the help of a Villages Defence Committee (VDC). More details awaited.
