In Punjab, a series of vibrant ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rallies are on as a precursor to the 79th Independence Day not only by civilians but also by the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) stationed in Jalandhar and other places in the state.
Border Security Force (BSF) is organising rallies under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign across the border districts of Punjab by involving the local public.
A motorcycle rally was held, yesterday, from Attari border to Chabbal road in Amritsar spreading the message of patriotism. Similarly, the border areas of Gurdaspur, Tarn Taran, Ferozepur and Fazilka also witnessed huge excitement and wholehearted participation by the local residents in various cycle rallies, motorcycle rallies and foot marches organised by the BSF units.
In another inspiring moment, a “Tiranga Yatra”, organised by the Media-Student Association from Haryana, arrived at BSF Frontier Headquarters, Jalandhar with more than 150 students and media associates. This patriotic journey which began on Aug 10th will culminate on Aug 16th in Kashmir, spreading the message of unity across India.
Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) 245th Battalion also organised a Bike Rally under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign and encouraged the public to hoist the National Flag at their homes and premises, promoting patriotism and unity amongst all.
Indo-Tibetan Border Police’s (ITBP) Jalandhar-based unit is also organising such events as part of the Nation vide campaign Ghar Tiranga.
