In Puducherry, the National Democratic Alliance is set to form the next government, securing a comfortable majority of 18 in the 30-member House. Among NDA constituents, the All India NR Congress has won 12 seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party 4 seats while other allies All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and Latchiya Jananayaga Katchi winning one seat each. Chief Minister N. Rangasamy has been re-elected from the Thattanchavady constituency. BJP Candidate and Home Minister A Namssivayam also won his seat.
