In Pakistan, amid rumours of Imran Khan’s death, allegations of torture, and concerns about his health, one of his sisters Uzma was today allowed to meet the former Prime Minister at Rawalpindi’s Adiala jail. The development has been reported at a time when Imran’s supporters from his Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) party staged a protest outside the Islamabad High Court and threatened to organise mass-protests in Rawalpindi over authorities’ repeated denials to grant family and supporters access to Imran.
