Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Shri Kashi Vishwanath temple this morning. He performed puja in the sanctum sanctorum for 20 minutes. The priests of the temple performed the puja, garlanded him, and applied the Tripund. As Mr Modi emerged from the temple, BJP leaders presented him with a trident and a damaru. The Prime Minister then picked up the Trident. The Prime Minister also spoke to some devotees present at the premises of the temple.
