President Droupadi Murmu has called Operation Sindoor as a defining testament to India’s unwavering resolve against terrorism and all forces that threaten our sovereignty and the safety of citizens. In a social media post on the completion of one year of Operation Sindoor, she said that the extraordinary success of this mission reflects the unmatched courage and determination of our Armed Forces.
The President said that the brutal attack at Pahalgam was met with befitting and exemplary precision. She reiterated that those who seek to threaten Bharat must know that our nation stands vigilant, united and prepared to respond with strength. President Murmu said, today, the nation salutes the indomitable bravery, sacrifice and professionalism of our soldiers.
Vice President C.P Radhakrishnan also described Operation Sindoor as a defining moment when India responded firmly to terror forces and terror-sponsoring states attempting to disturb the peace, unity, and sovereignty of Bharat. Marking one year of operation sindoor, the Vice President in a social media post said the unwavering courage and valour of our Armed Forces ensured that terror networks were effectively targeted and dismantled. He said the sacrifice and commitment of the armed forces remain a source of pride for every citizen. Vice President Radhakrishnan said that India will never forget the cowardly terror attack in Pahalgam and with zero tolerance towards terrorism, remains steadfast in its resolve to combat terrorism and terror sponsorship in every form.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also saluted the armed forces of the country on the first anniversary of ‘Operation Sindoor’ today. In a social media post, Mr Birla said, the Operation is a symbol of the extraordinary valor of the country’s armed forces. He noted that Operation Sindoor was India’s bold and proactive retaliation against terrorism. The Lok Sabha Speaker said that it demonstrated to the world that India stands firmly against every form of terror and in favor of humanity. Mr Birla noted that this operation by the Army also highlighted indigenous technology and self-reliance in the defense sector. He added that the nation will forever remain grateful to the armed forces of the country.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Operation Sindoor stands as an epochal mission of India that will always remind the country’s enemies of the infallible striking power of the armed forces. In a social media post marking one year of Operation Sindoor, Mr Shah saluted the unparalleled valour of the country’s forces. He said, History will remember this as the day of the precise striking power of India’s armed forces, meticulous intelligence of the country’s agencies, and resolute political will rising together as one to destroy each and every address of terror across the border. Mr Shah said this day will continue to bring the dreadful message to India’s enemies that no matter where they hide, they cannot escape. The Minister said, the enemies are always within our sight and the fierce wrath of our firepower.
