President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have extended their greetings to all civil servants on National Civil Service Day today. In a social media post, President Murmu said that the commitment of Civil Servants continues to strengthen responsive governance and reinforce public institutions. She noted that from the formulation of innovative, future-orientated and citizen-centric policies to their effective implementation on the ground, Civil Servant’s work significantly impacts the quality of life of millions. She asserted that as Bharat advances with renewed aspirations, the integrity and empathy of Civil Servants will be instrumental in bridging gaps, fostering inclusivity, and strengthening trust between the State and its citizens. She further wished the Civil Servants of the country to continue upholding the highest standards of public service and contribute meaningfully to the building of a more equitable and progressive nation.
In a social media post, Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan has appreciated the Civil Servants for their dedication and exemplary service to the nation. While describing them as the enduring pillar of India’s administrative framework, Mr Radhakrishnan said that their efforts in strengthening governance and delivering public services are of immense significance. He also noted that the theme for this year, Viksit Bharat: Citizen-Centric Governance and Development at the Last Mile, aligns with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and underscores the Government’s commitment to transparent, accountable, and citizen-centric governance, with a strong emphasis on last-mile delivery and inclusive development.
In a social media post, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this is an occasion to further strengthen the resolve to work towards good governance and nation-building. He emphasized that from the grassroots to policy-making, the efforts of civil servants touch countless lives and contribute to India’s progress. Mr Modi further wished the civil servants to continue to serve with excellence, compassion and innovation while upholding the highest standards of duty.
Home Minister Amit Shah also wished Civil Servants of the nation a happy National Civil Servants Day. In a social media post, Mr Shah said that their dedication to implementing policies, strengthening governance, and serving citizens with integrity plays a vital role in nation-building. He also expressed hope that the occasion would further fortify their commitment to contribute to the nation.
