Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called the BJP’s victory historic and unprecedented and expressed gratitude to the people and party workers of West Bengal, Assam, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu and Keralam. Addressing party workers at BJP headquarters in Delhi last evening, after poll results, Prime Minister Modi stated that BJP-NDA governments are in power in more than twenty states.
He said, BJP’s mantra is “Citizen is God” and party is dedicated to serving the people. He added that people are therefore placing more and more trust in the party. He emphasised that the people are clearly seeing that where there is BJP, there is good governance and development.
The Prime Minister said, new dawn has heralded for the nation and people have placed their trust in India’s great democracy, politics of performance and trust in the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat’. He appreciated BJP President Nitin Nabin for his guidance to party workers. Mr Modi highlighted that the people of Assam have trusted the BJP-NDA for the third time in a row and it’s a hat-trick. He called this a big feat in Assam’s history.
Highlighting the record voter turnout, the Prime Minister congratulated the Election Commission of India, its officials, polling personnel, and security forces for the smooth conduct of the elections. BJP President Nitin Nabin expressed his gratitude to the people of all four States and one Union Territory for giving their support and reposing their faith in the BJP and NDA.
He said results of the Assembly elections in Assam, West Bengal and Puducherry reflect the unwavering support and trust of the people of the country in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Mr Nabin said, massive victory in West Bengal has come after the relentless efforts and dedication of the party workers.
