Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Karnataka and Goa today. Mr Modi is scheduled to visit Sri Krishna Matha in Udupi, Karnataka and participate in the Laksha Kantha Gita Parayana programme.
He will also inaugurate Suvarna Teertha Mantapa located in front of the Krishna sanctum, and dedicate the Kanaka Kavacha for the sacred Kanakana Kindi.
Later the Prime Minister will participate in 550th Year Celebrations of Shree Samsthan Gokarn Partagali Jeevottam Math in Goa on the occasion of Sardha Panchashatamanotsava.
Mr Modi will unveil a 77 feet statue of Shri Ram, made up of bronze at the math and inaugurate Ramayana Theme Park Garden. On the occasion, the Prime Minister will also address the gathering and release the special postal stamp and a commemorative coin.
