Senior BJP leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the first political meeting at Madurantakam near Chennai, along with NDA partners in the State. With Assembly elections fast approaching in Tamil Nadu, this meeting will lay the foundation for the electioneering campaign with a single voice echoing the removal of DMK, which is anti-people and anti-development.
NDA will face the elections, which will be headed by AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palanisami. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his social media message, has said that the people of Tamil Nadu are with the NDA. In his social media post, former BJP State President Dr.L.Murugan has said that this meeting would lay the foundation for a massive success in the ensuing Assembly election. Security has been tightened in view of the Prime Minister’s visit to Madurantakam.
The Prime Minister is expected to arrive around 2.15 pm today at Meenambakkam Airport. He will leave by helicopter for the venue of the event.
