Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the establishment of 57 new Kendriya Vidyalayas is a landmark step in expanding access to quality education. In a social media post, Mr Modi said that the Union Cabinet today approved the opening of 57 new Kendriya Vidyalayas across the country. He said, it is gladdening that Kendriya Vidyalayas will include Balvatikas, nurturing children from the foundational stage. Mr Modi said, several students will benefit from this decision and jobs will also be created. The Prime Minister said that this is in line with the government’s commitment to inclusive growth, particularly in aspirational districts, the Northeast and other remote areas.
Prime Minister Modi said that the government is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the well-being of the farmers across the country. He said, in this context, the government has approved the Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulse. Mr Modi added that this historic initiative will not only increase pulse production but will also strengthen the government’s commitment towards achieving self-sufficiency.
