Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the newly built Delhi BJP office at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg in the national capital. The inauguration coincides with the Navratri Celebrations. Addressing the gathering on occasion, the Prime Minister said that NDA governments have provided a new model of good governance in the country and it is moving forward with the mantra of development and heritage.
He mentioned that NDA government has given the highest priority to the security of the country and its citizens and instilled a sense of confidence in a decisive battle against corruption by freeing the country from major scams. He said, another strong aspect of good governance is that the focus of the government is on delivery and on increasing the savings of the common people. He said, the government is prioritizing both efficient service delivery and boosting the savings of ordinary citizens. He mentioned that prior to 2014, any income exceeding two lakh rupees was taxable and today, individuals can earn up to 12 lakh rupees without paying any income tax.
Speaking about the next generation of GST reforms, Mr Modi emphasised to ensure that the reforms directly benefits ordinary citizens for which raising awareness among consumers and shopkeepers is essential. The Prime Minister also said that in those states where BJP is in Opposition, it must hold the government accountable to ensure that GST reductions are passed on to the public.
Speaking about the ongoing ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar’ Abhiyaan , the Prime Minister termed it as a major initiative for the health check-up of women. He said, so far, free health check-ups have been provided to over to three crore women in health camps. He emphasised that early detection of diseases like TB, breast cancer, and cervical cancer is extremely important and this initiative has been very helpful in this regard.
Congratulating the party workers, Prime Minister Modi said that Delhi BJP has got a new office on the pious occasion of Navratri. He said, the BJP has completed 45 years since it was founded in 1980. Mr Modi highlighted that the strength of Delhi BJP which it holds is a result of dedication and hardwork of its countless workers over the past decades. Emphasising for working together to build an Aatmanirbhar Bharat and promoting Swadeshi initiatives, Mr Modi said that this is a vital responsibility for party workers.
Speaking on the occasion, BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda said that Prime Minister Modi has dedicated every moment of his life to the Nation and the party. He said, Mr Modi always think about the welfare of the 140 crore people of the country. He said, with the inauguration of this office, the number of BJP offices across the country has gone upto 618.
The foundation stone for this office was laid by by BJP President Jagat Prakash Nadda on 9th of June, 2023.On the occasion, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva
