Prime Minister Narendra Modi today extended his wishes on the occasion of Attukal Pongala. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that the festival has special importance for Nari Shakti. Mr Modi wished that this auspicious day bring prosperity and good health to everyone’s lives, furthering the spirit of harmony and togetherness in society.

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah today extended his greetings to the countrymen on the sacred occasion of Attukal Pongala. In a social media post, Mr Shah wished that the blessings of Attukal Amma shower upon everyone, fill every life with prosperity, and fulfil all cherished wishes.
