Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of Maharashtra on the occasion of Maharashtra Day. In a social media post, Mr. Modi said that the state has always played a vital role in India’s development. He added that when one thinks of Maharashtra, its glorious history and the courage of the people come to everyone’s mind. Calling Maharashtra a strong pillar of progress, Mr. Modi wished for Maharashtra’s progress and said that the state has always remained connected to its roots.
