Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended greetings to the people of Meghalaya, Tripura and Manipur on their Statehood Day via social media posts.
In his message, the Prime Minister said that the people of Meghalaya have made strong contributions to the development of the nation. Mr Modi said that the state’s cultural vibrancy and scenic beauty are widely admired and wished that the state would keep scaling new heights of development in the future.
The Prime Minister said, ‘Tripura’s journey is marked by a remarkable blend of tradition and modernity. Mr Modi said that Tripura has witnessed pioneering transformations in diverse fields and its people are adding momentum to the nation’s growth trajectory. PM Modi also prayed that the state prospers significantly in the coming times.
In another social media post, PM Modi said that the Manipuri people are enriching the progress of the country. The Prime Minister said the state’s passion towards sports, culture and nature is noteworthy. He added that the state continues to move forward on the path of development in the times to come.
