PM Modi extends greetings on Assamese New Year, Rongali Bihu & Poila Baishakh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended his warm greetings on the occasions of Assamese New Year, Rongali Bihu and Bengali New Year, Poila Baishakh.
 
In a series of social media posts, the Prime Minister said that Rongali Bihu celebrates new beginnings, prosperity, and the spirit of togetherness. He added that the festival beautifully showcases Assamese culture, which is gaining popularity all across.
 
Mr Modi said that the occasion of Poila Baishakh celebrates the timeless richness of West Bengal’s culture, which has shaped India’s civilisational spirit. He wished good health and lots of happiness for everyone.
 
The Prime Minister added that the spirit of happiness and brotherhood may always prevail among all.
