Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the Indian Blind Women’s Cricket Team for creating history by winning the inaugural Blind Women’s T20 World Cup. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said the win is commendable as the Indian team remained unbeaten in the series. The Prime Minister said, the women’s team victory is indeed a historic sporting achievement, a shining example of hard work, teamwork and determination. He said, This feat will inspire generations to come. Mr Modi added that each player is a champion and extended his best wishes to the team for its future endeavours.
