Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed condolences on the demise of Nagaland BJP leader Imkong L. Imchen. In a social media post, the Prime Minister said that Mr Imchen will be remembered for his outstanding contribution to Nagaland’s development. Mr Modi said that the former Nagaland MLA had been active in public life for several years and was particularly passionate about welfare of tribal communities. He added that Mr Imchen contributed towards strengthening the BJP in Nagaland and his legislative and ministerial tenures will be fondly remembered.
