PM Modi condemns attack on UAE’s Fujairah which injured 3 Indian nationals

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly condemned the attacks on UAE’s Fujairah that resulted in injuries to three Indian nationals. In a social media post, Mr Modi stated that targeting civilians and infrastructure is unacceptable. He asserted that India stands in firm solidarity with the UAE and reiterates its support for the peaceful resolution of all issues through dialogue and diplomacy. Mr Modi emphasized that ensuring safe and unimpeded navigation through the Strait of Hormuz is vital for enduring regional peace, stability and global energy security.


Several countries, including Japan, Ireland, Austria, Saudi Arabia, and Jordan, today condemned the recent attack carried out by Iran on the UAE. Meanwhile, addressing a press briefing at the Pentagon, US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth today said that the US-Iran ceasefire is not over as tensions rise in Strait of Hormuz.
