Press Information Bureau today said that some Pakistani propaganda social media accounts are circulating digitally altered video of President Droupadi Murmu with false claims. The Fact-checking unit of PIB informed that these videos are AI generated and is being circulated to mislead people about about extremism and weakening secularism in the country. PIB further clarified that no such statement has been made by President and also shared the link for genuine, unedited video. Government has urged citizens to always verify any suspicious claims and to report such content immediately on  918799711259, or mail at factcheck@pib.gov.in.
