The Government has debunked a video circulating on social media claiming that Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is promoting an investment platform promising early monetary benefits.

The Fact Check Unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) informed that the video is fake and AI-generated. The Unit added that the Finance Minister has not endorsed any such investment platform or scheme. The PIB has asked the citizens to always verify information from official sources before believing or sharing them. The Government further urged the citizens to not fall for such schemes as they could be phishing attempts
