The government has refuted a video circulating on social media which claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made statements on religious issues and in the context of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The Fact checking unit of the Press Information Bureau (PIB) informed that the video is AI generated and being circulated by pro-Pakistani handles. The unit further said that no such statement has been made by the Prime Minister. PIB has urged citizens to rely only on official sources for such information.
