The Passing Out Parade of the 149th course of the National Defence Academy was held this morning at the Khetrapal Parade Ground in Khadakwasla, Pune. The Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Dinesh K. Tripathi, reviewed the parade. A total of 329 cadets were commissioned into the Armed Forces. Cadet Siddharth Singh commanded the parade.

 

 

The President’s Gold Medal went to Deepak Kandpal, the Silver Medal to Siddharth Singh, and the Bronze Medal to Siddhi Jain. The Chief of Staff Banner was awarded to Golf Squadron. The Convocation Ceremony for the 149th course was held yesterday at Habibullah Hall, with UPSC Chairman Dr. Ajay Kumar as the Chief Guest.

 

 

A total of 328 cadets received jawaharlal Nehru University degree, 72 in Science, 92 in Computer Science, and 52 in Arts. Degrees were also awarded to 18 cadets from friendly foreign countries. Additionally, 112 B.Tech cadets from the Navy and Air Force received three-year course completion certificates.
