The Jammu Division of Northern Railway has announced the extension of services of a special reserved train between New Delhi and Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, citing heavy passenger demand and the convenience of travellers.

 

 

Train number 04081 from New Delhi to Katra will operate on 9th and 10th of this month, while train number 04082 from Katra to New Delhi will run on 10th and 11th of January 2026. 

 

 

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal said the extension follows the success of the earlier operations, with nearly 100 percent occupancy recorded during previous trips.
