Noida International Airport to begin commercial flight operations from 15 June 2026

Noida International Airport today announced the commencement of commercial flight operations at the airport from 15th June 2026, opening a new gateway for passengers, airlines, and cargo operators in the National Capital Region and North India.

The start of services follows the inauguration of the airport by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the receipt of approval for the Aerodrome Security Programme from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security. IndiGo will operate the first flight from Noida International Airport, marking the start of scheduled passenger services, which will be followed shortly by Akasa Air and Air India Express.

The Noida International Airport will connect the greater Delhi area and Western Uttar Pradesh with other cities in India and the world. It is among the largest greenfield airport projects in the country.

The first phase of Noida International Airport has been developed at a total investment of around 11,200 crore rupees under a Public-Private Partnership model. The airport will initially have a passenger handling capacity of 12 million passengers per annum, with scalability up to 70 million passengers per annum upon full development.
