In Bihar, political activities are gaining momentum in view of the upcoming Bihar Assembly Elections. JD(U) President and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today called on senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Patna.
BJP State President Dr Dilip Jaiswal, JD(U) working national President Sanjay Jha, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, BJP Bihar Affairs in charge Vinod Tawade, Senior JD(U) leader and minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary and some senior leaders were present during the meeting. Sources said the JD(U) and BJP top leaders discussed matters related to the Bihar assembly elections during the meeting.
The meeting comes at a time when political activities are gaining momentum, and leaders of constituent parties of the NDA are making statements regarding seat distribution. Mr Shah is on a day-long visit to the state and will interact with party leaders, workers, and elected representatives in Dehri-on-Sone and Begusarai.
