Nagaland Economy Projected to Grow 10.33% in fiscal year 2025-26

Nagaland’s economy is expected to grow by 10.33 per cent in the fiscal year 2025-26, according to the Nagaland Economic Survey report 2025-26 tabled today during the ongoing Session of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly. 
 
The report highlights that the size of the state’s economy, measured by Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), has witnessed significant growth over the past decade. The GSDP increased from 19,524 crore rupees in 2015-16 to 51,014 crore rupees in 2025-26, reflecting steady economic expansion in the state.
 
The survey also stated that the state is currently drafting the Viksit Nagaland @2047 Document, aimed at transforming Nagaland into a developed state by 2047 by leveraging its economic strengths and addressing existing challenges. 
 
Meanwhile, the per capita income of the state is estimated to grow by 9.64 percent in 2025-26, reaching 1,92,280 rupees.
