Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw today said that the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train project is witnessing steady progress with the installation of overhead electrification masts advancing along the corridor. In a social media post, Mr Vaishnaw said that the development marks an important step towards enabling electric traction for the country’s first high-speed rail system and reflects consistent on-ground execution under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.
