Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Kirti Vardhan Singh, will attend the 7th session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) in Nairobi, Kenya, today.
In a social media post, Mr Singh said that he will represent India among 193 countries during the 5 day session, which began yesterday. He added that the session will deliberate on environmental challenges such as climate change and biodiversity loss.
UNEA is the world’s highest-level decision-making body at the United Nations on environmental matters.
